Our very own Lloyd Gite was one of the local stars to take part in the annual “Dancing with the Houston Stars” fundraiser for the Urban Souls Dance Company.
The March event was held at the new MATCH entertainment center in Midtown. Gite, who broke his index finger on his left hand one day before the contest, despite the pain still performed. He and his dance partner/choregrapher Mayra Bullock performed to the Bruno Mars hit “Uptown Funk.”
The winners of the contest were Jackie Adams, the owner of Melodrama and Ch 13 reporter/anchor Chauncy Glover.
The event was a blast!
