Gallery owner Lloyd Gite recently traveled to Charlotte, North Carolina to arrange the hanging of 65 paintings and masks at a client’s new home. Gite met Dr. Denise Glover in the 1970’s and they have been dear friends since. Glover recently retired from her job in the Washington, D.C. area and she and her husband Charles Hicks decided to move to North Carolina. They purchased a new home in a 55 and over community just outside Charlotte. To place her art, much of it purchased from the Gite Gallery over the years, she called on me for help. After spending two days hanging art and buying accessories for the new home, it was a done deal.
