16 year-old Malkom Irving recently showed his artwork, “Visions of Nature Photo Exhibit” at The Gite Gallery.
The 11th grader, from Hightower High School, showed ten pieces including up close photos of a dandelion, a hardened dead flower, and the twisting roots of a very large tree.
Irving’s works show the attention to detail in regards to nature’s beauty. He photographs what we see in full but often times never view up close.
He picked up the camera four years ago and began taking pictures. He would like to work in 3-D animation and do freelance photography once he finishes college.
About 40 friends, relatives, and teachers came by to see the works. Some came from as far as New Orleans to support Malkom.
