Throughout the months of September and October, The Gite Gallery will be hosting its 1st Annual Jack Yates High School Art Supply Drive to help students fulfill their creative dreams.
Jack Yates High School has nurtured the talents of world class artists, athletes, musicians, journalists, lawyers, engineers, politicians, doctors and other professionals. Located in the heart of Houston’s Third Ward Community; Jack Yates High School is proud of its legacy of excellence, and aims to continue to provide its scholars with a world-class education.
The Gite Gallery owner, Lloyd Gite, is committed to enriching the lives of the students of his alma mater by exposing them to and educating them about the arts.
