Since 1990, A. Renee Logans’ company, Access Data, a technology consulting, project management, and business development firm, has been located in a once swanky high-rise building in the Galleria area. But after years of neglect and a change of hands at least three times, Logans decided it was time to pick up and move.

She used the move as a way to update things and to really “think outside of the box” and go with a very contemporary vibe. Her new 2,800 sq. ft. office is located in midtown in a newly built midrise. “I wanted to start a new chapter in my business life,” says Logans, who currently has five employees.

The result is an office full of fun colors, fabulous art, and modern furniture. The chairs and couches are splashes of color. Think reds, yellows, greens, blues, and purples. Same for the artwork. The walls pop with bold and inviting colors! Logans used both original paintings by African artists and mixed them with abstract pieces from other artists. The office also features a large black stone shona sculpture from Zimbabwe in Southern Africa.

“Working with The Gite Gallery was a big help,” says Logans. “Lloyd and I were able to get out together and select the right pieces of art and furnishings for the office. I am very pleased with the new look. I just keep asking myself why it took me 24 years to make a change!”
